I think 20, at the very least, is that one age where you know things are going to get different. Before 20, you're still a "teenager" (no matter what you might be doing at that age). Once 20 hits, though, the "teens" are over, and you can't even think of yourself as a child anymore. Doesn't matter if you weren't inclined to see yourself as a child at 19 or not; the rules have changed suddenly, and it's just no longer allowed. At least those were some of the thoughts I remember were tumbling around in my anxiety-ridden head as my 20th approached 21 years ago
